Opened in 1902 Haslingden Cemetery has been the final resting place of many local families for over 100 years. This group originally Save Haslingden Cemetery was formed in our fight to ensure that the Cemetery remained a peaceful and tranquil area to visit our loved ones. This group originally Save Haslingden Cemetery was formed in our fight to ensure that the Cemetery remained a peaceful and tranquil area to visit our loved ones. The newly formed Friends of Haslingden Cemetery is now committed to it's long term future and to work with the Council to ensure that it continues for years to come. We would ask you all to get involved, young or old and help us with maintaining and developing this area to make it even more of a pleasure to visit.
